Cristiano Ronaldo came from humble beginnings. Back when he was still at school, he’d have to make do with just two pairs of shoes. Given the amount of time spent on the pitch, the trainers were so beat they’d have holes in them. It was Cristiano’s mother who was tasked with patching up the shoes, allowing him to continue playing and honing those skills.
